Cikal Aksara Mengantar Penulisnya menjadi Finalis CMA 2018

CMA (Citi Microenterpreuner Award) 2018 adalah ajang para penggiat UKM (Usaha Kecil Menengah) yang diberi kesempatan untuk mengenalkan produk usahanya untuk dikurasi oleh para tim juri. Acara CMA ini telah berlangsung cukup lama, dan pada tahun 2017—2018 ada 807 UKM yang terdaftar mengikuti acara ini.

Hal yang harus dilakukan adalah mengisi formulir online yang sediakan oleh tim CMA. Setelah itu, sejumlah peserta akan disaring menjadi 50 besar, lalu tim CMA mendatangi tempat usaha para penggiat UKM untuk di survei kegiatan usahanya dan diteliti apa saja yang menjadi bagian dari bisnisnya.

Tri Harianto adalah pengarang buku teknik menggambar untuk anak-anak yang karya bukunya selalu laris manis di pasaran. 4 buku karyanya yang diterbitkan oleh Cikal Aksara yaitu Menggambar itu Gampang! (2013), Menggambar dari Huruf A-Z (2014), Menggambar Hewan itu Gampang! (2015), Menggambar & Mewarnai itu Gampang! (2017).

Kak Tri begitu ia sering dipanggil adalah salah satu UKM Ekonomi kreatif yang memiliki kemampuan dalam membuat tutorial menggambar untuk anak-anak dengan segmen pasar para orang tua yang memiliki anak yang gemar menggambar, serta para guru PAUD, TK dan SD yang menggunakan buku Kak Tri sebagai referensi dalam proses belajar mengajarnya.

Dalam ajang CMA 2018 ini, Kak Tri terpilih masuk ke dalam 50 besar, lalu oleh tim CMA kegiatan usahanya di teliti dan dilakukan wawancara seputar dunia usaha. Sebulan kemudian diumumkan, hasilnya ternyata Kak Tri masuk ke dalam finalis 20 besar yang diberi kesempatan untuk diundang ke Jakarta agar karyanya dikurasi oleh para tim juri.

Pada waktu yang telah ditentukan, Kak Tri berangkat ke Jakarta dan mengikuti bootcamp selama beberapa hari dan diberi kesempatan untuk menyiapkan presentasi yang akan ditunjukkan ke hadapan tim juri.

Ada lima kategori yang dilombakan pada ajang CMA 2018 ini, yaitu kategori Fishery, Green, Culinary & Service, Agriculture serta Art & Creative. Kak Tri masuk kategori Art & Creative dan menjadi bagian dari 4 besar.

Saat presentasi, kak Tri sudah memberikan penjelasan dan data terkait usaha yang dijalankan, tetapi nasib baik belum berpihak kepadanya, kak Tri belum berhasil menjadi juara kategori.

Namun, banyak hal yang bisa dipetik dari kegiatan ini, selain pengetahuan yang diberikan saat bootcamp dan beberapa jaringan bisnis yang mulai berkembang setelah mendapat respon dari para pengunjung saat diadakan pameran di Grand Hyatt Hotel pada acara penganugerahan hadiah untuk peserta.

Banyak pengunjung yang terkesan dengan buku karya Kak Tri termasuk salah satunya adalah petinggi dari salah satu bank ternama yang ternyata beliau memiliki rumah baca di beberapa tempat.

Walau Kak Tri belum berhasil masuk sebagai pemenang, tetapi semangat masih tetap menyala dan menjadikan pemicu agar berkarya lebih baik lagi dan melayani masyarakat se-optimal mungkin.
